Following the announcement of winners at the 69th National Awards on Thursday, the internet exploded with mixed reactions. Some sections celebrated the triumph of their favorites, while others were taken aback by certain unexpected names, and there was another section that expressed deep disappointment.
As anticipated, films like “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” “Pushpa,” “RRR,” and “Sardar Udham” won big across various categories. However, some outcomes, such as Allu Arjun winning Best Actor, Kriti Sanon securing Best Actress, and Devi Sri Prasad receiving the Best Music Director award, raised eyebrows within certain sections.
