New scheme “Yuva Nidhi” introduced by Congress. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress Party made an announcement about a new scheme known as Yuva Nidhi. This announcement was made on Monday 20 March 2023. The main purpose of the Yuva Nidhi scheme is to help the unemployed youth. This scheme is also the fourth poll promise that the party has provided at the Yuvakranti Samavesha at Karnataka’s Belagavi.

What is the Yuva Nidhi scheme?

According to the Congress Party, the main motive of the Yuva Nidhi scheme is to provide Rs. 3000 every month to the unemployed youth who have a graduation degree for two years. The scheme will also be giving Rs. 1500 to everyone who has a diploma and is unemployed in the state. This money will be given as an allowance to help all those who are unemployed and are looking for work. The Congress Party said that it would certainly implement this scheme if it was voted to power.

Other than the Yuva Nidhi scheme, the Congress Party had also planned many other ways to help the people of the state of Karnataka. Earlier in January, the Congress had released the “Gruha Lakshmi” scheme. Under this scheme, all the housewives in the state of Karnataka were promised Rs. 2000 every month if the party came to power. The party also made the promise of providing 200 units of free electricity every month. This scheme was made to help and benefit the people of Karnataka.

The congress Party also introduced another scheme in the month of February known as the “Anna Bhagya” scheme. Under this, around 10kgs of free rice was promised to all the families and persons below the poverty line (BPL) in the state. The congress has come up with several schemes to help the people of Karnataka. The elections in Karnataka are likely to be held in the month of May.
