Indian President calls on students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset

Student entrepreneurs rather than job seekers should embrace entrepreneurship, President Droupadi Murmu has encouraged. The President emphasised the significance of creativity and entrepreneurship to create job possibilities for themselves and others during a virtual event hosted by a university in Jharkhand.

She urged students to take advantage of these chances by highlighting the government’s initiatives to assist entrepreneurs and foster a climate that is favourable for start-ups.

President Murmu emphasised the value of vocational training and skill development in preparing students for the workforce. She urged educational institutions to put an emphasis on helping students gain real-world experience and practical skills.

The president’s encouragement of entrepreneurship comes at a good moment because the Indian government is working to develop a more entrepreneurial environment there. To encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, a number of programmes have been introduced, notably the Start-up India programme.

Students, faculty members, and other dignitaries in attendance responded favourably to Murmu’s speech. Numerous students stated their desire to learn more about entrepreneurship and launch their own businesses.

The president has emphasised the value of independence and entrepreneurship in the current economic context by pushing students to become job creators. Her appeal is anticipated to inspire a large number of young people to consider entrepreneurship and generate new employment prospects.
