The US websites face scrutiny after the sub-implosion

The US-based deep-sea exploration company Ocean Gate disappeared from the internet (social media and websites) within a few months after the implosion of its submersible. Five tourists were found dead. The suspicious activities were noticed shortly after the company announced the suspension of their exploratory missions.

Now, all the accounts on social media and the websites are inactive to the public, so there is nothing to be sure about the time of disappearance according to the social media users and handlers that these pages do not exist on the internet.

The website pages of Ocean Gate and Ocean Gate Expeditions indicate that the company is responsible for exploration and commercial operations.

A disappearance version of the Ocean Gate Expenditions websites from July 8 shows that the company at the start displayed the suspension notice prominently on their website. Their archived version contained direct links to the pages detailing their expeditions and submersibles.

Both the pages of Ocean Gate and Ocean Gate Expeditions have been the accounts of Facebook, similar to the fact that they have an account on LinkedIn; Twitter has been removed; and the Instagram account has switched to being a private account.

At present, only the Ocean Gate Foundation remains active; the other active websites were already removed from Facebook.

The company Ocean Gate and its CEO, Stockton Rush, faced Inspection after the Titanic Submarine went missing during a dive to the Titanic shipwreck on June 18.

On June 22, the US Coast Guard declared their submersible had suffered a catastrophic implosion, resulting in the deaths of the five people on board, including Mr. Rush.

The company and their representative have not made any official statements about this development.
