Snakes are the myserious, hypnotic eyed creatures of the animal world, you do not want to be in the same vicinity as one and you cannot feel helpless and amazed when you see one. Even in astrology they are identified with the two legendary shadow planets, Rahu and Ketu, although in more modern interpretations, Ketu is considered to lord over these creatures and is a reason as to why Ketuvian natives often have a penetrating expression in their eyes and often a tendency to mesmerize.
I personally was nearly bitten by two black venomous kraits on two consecutive days while I was 18 and in Goa. The newly discovered snake in the Peruvian region has been christened as tachymenoides harrisonfordi, a 16 inch marvel.
