Massive Fire at Punjab National Bank in Delhi

A massive fire took place in one of the chains of the Punjab National Bank located in Delhi. The fire started early in the morning at around 5 a.m. on 11 February 2023. The fire departments reached the scene as soon as possible. There were at least 17 units down at the location of the bank. The units worked swiftly to put out the fire and they also ensured no one was hurt or harmed.

According to the authorities, no one was present at the building and the employees of the bank are safe. Thanks to the efficient work of the fire department, the fire was controlled and the situation was handled properly. This incident took place in Delhi near the Karol Bagh area. And around 7 a.m. in the morning the fire had subsided completely.

Atul Garg, the Chief of the Fire Services received the news about the fire at the very dawn of the day. The fire was only on the ground floor of the bank. Reports have stated that the fire hadn’t spread much when the brigade arrived.

Atul Garg later gave the statement, “A call regarding the blaze was received from PNB on Gurudwara road in Karol Bagh at around 5.15 a.m. A total of 17 fire tenders were pressed into service. The blaze was brought under control at 7.05 a.m. He also added, “The fire was in Punjab National Bank at ground and mezzanine floor and no injuries or causality has been reported”.

However, the news about the fire has spread quickly throughout India and had raised a concern about the safety of people. It has also led people to take more caution and learn about fire hazards. Citizens are taking a step in the right direction by learning safety measures to protect themselves from such a situation.
