AB De Villiers makes a significant statement on Virat Kohli

Royal Challengers Bangalore has one of the most enduring fanbases I have seen. One of my close friends fervently defends them and relentlessly criticizes Mumbai Indians, saying that the only reason they win is because they have bought the umpires, which no doubt cracks me up a lot and no doubt, it is the sense of loyalty speaking, but you have to admire her commitment to the cause, if only most people could be this committed, the rates of divorces and breakups might lower( feel free to ignore my views on relationships, I prefer being single, to me there are no red or green flags, just flags)

RCB has never won the ultimate trophy of the IPL, Mumbai Indians has, and they do enjoy overwhelming support if not the rabid fan base that  RCB has enjoyed. AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli have become one of the most recognisable duos owing to this team, like that one best friend duo who is so close together that if they do not hang out together for one day, it feels as if some calamity has happened. This is a trope that has been referenced in countless movies, books, even memes( yes they are considered works of art nowadays)

AB has recently said on his Youtube that the strategic number 4 position, that can make or break the team and is often reserved for batsmen, should be occupied by Virat Kohli and if the statistics are to be taken into consideration, like seven of his hundreds coming from the same position with a strike rate of 90.66, this position would be a welcome change from his current no 3.

De Villiers was effusive in his praise as not just a loyal friend, but he also consulted the hard facts and pragmatism. What Kohli has to say remains to be seen.
