Chhattisgarh’s Cm Bhupesh Baghel on Monday supported Nitish Kumar. And appreciated his efforts to unite all Non-Bharatiya Janta Party against the centre. He also assured the JD(U) Leader that he will flourish in what he is trying to do.
Talking to the reporters at Helipad Police Lines, The congress veteran leader Bhupesh Baghel accused the party in power of being too casteist. And the Right wing BJP is biassed against the OBC(Other backward classes).The Chhattisgarh Cm said that Nitish kumar met Mallikarjun kharge the party president of congress. Baghel was sitting with Kumar and they had a drawn-out discussion on unity among all the opposition party. And Baghel feels that Kumar will be successful in this fight against the centre.
Furthermore, while countering Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement about congress being biassed to OBC. Baghel said that Most of the OBC population is involved in farming. And BJP government had promised them double income and has it happened yet questioned Baghel? The chief minister also allegedly claimed that the congress recommended 27% reservations for OBC in Chhattisgarh but the BJP government clearly denied it.
On the other hand, the BJP government responded to the meeting of Arvind Kejriwal with Nitish Kumar. They said Nitish Kumar should stop daydreaming about becoming a prime minister and rather focus on Bihar.
