Chhattisgrah accident- seven students killed

In the Kanker district in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region, seven children were killed and one was injured in a terrible accident. All of the children in the auto-rickshaw were of ages between 5-8 years. They ones who were severely injured were rushed to the nearby hospital in Kanker district. As soon as the accident was reported, the senior officials quickly made their way to the location of the incident.  

The incident took place at around 3:10pm in the afternoon, when 8 school students were on their way home from a private school and the auto collided with truck on the Korar-Bhunapratappur road. Unfortunately, five students died at the spot and the other two were pronounced dead in the hospital. Later the officials found out that the auto-rickshaw driver was also injured due the collision. Hearing about such a situation and accident gave a shock to everyone. No one anticipated that the collision would have such an impact.  

As mentioned above, even though the students were rushed to the hospital, they were not able to survive the accident as the truck caused a lot of damage to the auto-rickshaw.  

Bhupesh Baghel was quick to comment on the situation and expressed his feelings of distress as well as his condolences for the loss of the children. He also mentioned that support and help will be provided to the injured and to the families who have to face the death of their children. “May God give courage to the family members” mention CM Baghel.  

Unfortunately, the truck driver who collied with the auto-rickshaw and caused the chaos, fled the scene of the accident before the police officials could arrive. However, the officials have stated that they are putting out a wide spread search for the truck driver. The death of the young students has left an impact on everybody.
