Odisha Jawan Debashish Biswal Among 5 Army Personnel Martyred in J&K Terror Attack: Condolences Pour In
Condolences have been pouring in for Odia Jawan Debashish Biswal’s family, who was among the five army personnel who lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch area on Thursday. The lance naik from Alagum near Sakhigopal in Puri district is survived by his wife and a seven-month-old baby. Tragically, he was supposed to celebrate his first wedding anniversary on April 22, the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
Baijayant Panda, BJP National Vice President, expressed his sorrow over Jawan’s death and prayed for the injured soldiers. Similarly, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also mourned the death of Odisha’s hero Jawan Debasis Biswal in the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Dharmendra Pradhan also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the immortal soul’s peace.
Biswal’s death has left his family and village heartbroken. His grandfather, Panchanan Biswal, said that the whole village is in shock, and although they are proud of him, they are shattered after hearing the news of his death. Biswal’s brother, Dilip Biswal, described him as one of the brightest children in the village, the pride of their village. Biswal’s mother, Shantilata, said that they would never get a son like him again and they could never forget him.
The sacrifice of the brave soldiers will always be remembered, and the country will forever be indebted to them for their service and sacrifice. May their souls rest in peace.
