Delhi set to witness 40 degrees Celsius temperature in coming days

As summer days are knocking on our doors and already we have seen hot waves in the daytime, nothing less for Delhi as well, the national capital is set to see 40 degrees Celsius in just a few days, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast.

Moreover, parts of the city recorded maximum temperatures higher than that at Safdarjung station on Tuesday. The maximum temperature, which was around 36.8 degrees Celsius at the Safdarjung weather station on Tuesday, is set to rise up to 40 degrees by April 16 and is likely to stay the same for the next couple of days.

However, Delhi is most likely to remain dry and clear over the next six days, with partly clouds or clear skies on most days.

Although, the minimum temperature early on Wednesday was 22.1 degrees Celsius, which is a degree above the normal for this time of the year and also the minimum temperature for Delhi.

But, the minimum temperature is likely to settle in between 18 to 20 degrees over the next six days.

Just for notice, the highest temperature at the CWG Sports Complex on Tuesday was 39 degrees Celsius, while it was 36.8 degrees at Pitampura. Moreover, all these localities in Delhi are a major public spot and have an extreme density of population.
