Electoral directorate calls in for questioning , youth party member Saayoni Ghosh from All India Trinamool Congress regarding the Bengal School Teacher Job scam. The Electoral Directorate has called to summon Saayoni on 5th July 2023. The ED is committed to dig into the leader’s Income tax return statements and other bank account statements of the past 10 years. The leader is also asked to come up with all her property details of the last 10 years in connection with the Job scam.
Who is Saayoni Ghosh?
Saayoni Ghosh is a Bengali film and television actress and an uprising politician. She made her political debut by joining All India Trinamool congress on 21st January 2021
Saayoni Ghosh’s name has been tossed up several times in front of the Electoral Directorate after interrogating Kuntal Ghosh. Kuntal Ghosh is the prime accused in the Job scam controversy. Saayoni Ghosh’s name came up in several chats of Kuntal Ghosh. And the two of them were seen together several times. On the other hand, Saayoni Ghosh refused all the allegations and denied any relation with Kuntal Ghosh. In her defence she said that she met Kuntal a few times in Public Events. All India Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy confronted the media in support of the youth member. He said “I am sure Saayoni will cooperate with the probe. But The ED is giving this probe a political approach.

This scam’s investigation led to many arrests of TMC leaders like Partha Chatterjee, a close aide to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Even Mamta Banerjee’s Nephew Abhishek Banerjee was summoned by ED.
