Fire broke up in MP’s Government Building, Opposition alleged it as a “Conspiracy”

Fire broke out in Government Building:

On Monday evening, a massive fire broke out in Satpura Bhawan (a State Government Building) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The flame of the fire was so extensive that after 12 hours of firefighting operations, its gets into control. However, no causalities were reported but thousands of files burnt into ashes.

Police Investigation to the ground:

After the fire spreads out in the government building, the fire fighters and Police Jawans reach to the spot for clearance and controlled the situation. Police reported that before they can control the fire the third to down sixth floor were badly affected due to the blaze. Furthermore, police officials reported that however the flames have been controlled. They also warned that the situation yet needs to be control because due to the cloud of smoke at different places there is a possibility that again the fire broke out.

C.M. calls Indian Air Force for Help:

The centre and CM office quickly responded to the situation and determined the crucial circumstances made due to fire broke. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the directions of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, sought help from the Indian Air Force. As per the request of CM, Indian Air Force sent its MI-15 and AN32 aircrafts to Bhopal for the dousing operation.

Possible reason behind the incident:

The Bhopal’s Commissioner of Police Harinarayanachari Mishra told ANI that according to the initial investigation the cause of the fire is can be due to ‘Short Circuit’, but a team of experts is still investigating the exact reason behind fire broke. Furthermore, He also said that the fire broke out at around 4PM in the building. It has started from Tribal Welfare Department office at third floor and later spread to the fourth, fifth and sixth floors.

Congress ministers after fire incident:   

The fire incident blow up political atmosphere in Madhya Pradesh where specifically congress ministers showed up skeptical nature over the incident. The happening triggered political heat in Madhya Pradesh. Several ministers of congress including Former Pradesh Congress Committee President (PCC) alleged on in rule government, claiming the incident a “Conspiracy”. Congress MLA Jitu Pawari, PCC former Chief Arun Yadav, were among ministers among them who questioned state government over the happening.

However, the CM announced to constitute an investigation committee to find out the exact reasons behind fire broke; the step was taken after congress questions BJP over the incident.
