BJP’s message on the situation

On this account, the BJP said that the regional political parties involved in corruption are playing the victim card. They are doing this simply because they are being interrogated by the central agencies. BJP’s national spokesperson, Gaurav Bhatia later said, “They do not deny the charges. They are not helping the interrogation either,”. On the land-for-job case, the BJP said Nitish Kumar too sought action against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia also added, “Now that there is an investigation, why are you not speaking up? They are saying everything is a political rivalry. Then why are you not getting a reprieve from the court?” He also pointed out that none of the accused are telling the truth and are saying that they weren’t involved in this matter.

The BJP leader also mentioned that when BRS leader K Kavitha was asked about her connection with Butchibabu, she did not say anything. He also added that she should come clean to the public. She should also tell everyone about her relation or connection with Indospirits, with Butchibabu. Even Priyanka Chaturvedi, a member of the Rajya Sabha commented saying, “This would be remembered in history as the darkest chapter of independent agencies- when asked to bend they crawled,”.
