On Wednesday, 5th April 2023, a well-known Kannada actor, “Kichcha,” Sudeep, declared his backing for Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and offered to advocate alongside him and any politicians he might recommend. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai complimented the artist and claimed that Sudeep’s backing strengthens the Bharatiya Janata Party’s general election campaign in the province that is close to voting.
The Election day is set on May 10, 2023. Actor Kiccha Sudeep added that although he was not supporting the Bharatiya Janata Party or any other major organization, he owed the chief minister a sense of gratitude because they had grown up together. The actor stated he wasn’t planning to demand any campaign expenses during a news appearance with Basavaraj Bommai.
Kiccha Sudeep said that, inside the bounds of his personal limitations as well as between filming commitments, he would indeed run for office in seats that had been given to him. He said he couldn’t do it, and talked about considering going throughout the province. Congress leader RS Surjewala criticized Modi for depending on movie actors for assistance since nobody seemed to be paying attention to the chief minister. In February, a photo of Sudeep and DK Shivakumar went viral, sparking rumors that the actor might join the group.
The actor has previously said he would weigh all of his alternatives as well as the requests of his supporters before making any decisions. On Twitter, action star Prakash Raj rejected them, labeling it a trick by the “falling Bharatiya Janata party.” In response to the legendary actor’s tweet, Sudeep stated that although he admires Prakash Raj’s talent and therefore would love to collaborate with him, he is backing Bommai out of devotion to the chief minister.
