Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury lashed out at West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. “Mamata’s magic spell is fading away. Many people are joining Congress. In the coming future her delusion will diminish”, says Chowdhury. He also mentions that there are more pending cases from the state with CBI than it is for the rest of India.

“Each and every district of West Bengal is getting tormented. The politicians of Trinamool Congress are looting people of Bengal”, added Chowdhury. Adhir comments immediately after TMC MLA Jiban Krishna Saha’s arrest in West Bengal Teacher Recruitment Scam.

On Sunday, CBI retrieved one of the mobile phones that Jiban had thrown in the pond. They found the phone by pumping out all the water from the pond. CBI conducted their search on April 14. They selected six locations to search, including Jiban’s residence.

The case was registered in Calcutta High Court. It was alleged that the accused used to collect money from the candidates by promising them jobs in the education sectors as teachers. During the search, CBI found many incriminating papers including primary and secondary school teachers’ recruitment.

After Partha Chatterjee and Mainak Bhattacharya, Saha is the third TMC MLA to be arrested by CBI in connection to Teachers’ Recruitment scam.
