No Indian Muslim a descendant of Aurangzeb: Devendra Fadnavis 

Akola, Maharashtra: In a public rally in Akola, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday that no Muslim in India is descendant of Aurangzeb and those Muslims who are nationalist do not not recognize the Mughal emperors as their rulers.

In the rally, Devendra Fadnavis also said that there is only one king and that is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and all the Muslims respect him.

“Our king is only Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We cannot have another king muslims in india are not descendants of Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb and his clan came from outside,” said Fadnavis.

“A muslim in this country who has national ideas never approves of Aurangzeb. He respects only Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj,” Devendra Fadnavis added further.

Fadnavis also attacked the VBA leader saying, “Ambedkar says Aurangzeb ruled our country for a long period. So Hitler also ruled Germany. Many people used to revere Hitler like a God…It was not expected from you. Uddhav Thackeray has allied with Ambedkar. So do you (Thackeray) accept Ambedkar’s act?” 

Bhartiye Janata Party(BJP) organised a public rally in Akola district of Maharashtra to commemorate the nine- years of Narendra Modi Government in the centre.

On Twitter, Fadnavis did a tweet saying that a mass gathering showed that the people of the state have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“This mass gathering in the Modi@9, shows the faith of the public towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLA Praveen Darekar, MLA Randhir Savarkar, MLA Akash Phundkar, Chainsukh Sancheti ji, senior leaders of Akola and thousands of brothers and sisters were present with me,” tweeted Fadnavis.

Earlier, a conflict happened in the Kolhapur regions after a some young people allegedly posted objections posts on social media platforms with a reference to Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan.

Suddenly, in some districts of Maharashtra sons of Aurangzed took birth. They keep the status of Aurangzeb and show their posters. Because of this, there are tensions. Questions arise, where do these sons of Aurangzeb come from? Who are behind this? We will find this out,” said Fadnavis while talking to ANI in Nagpur. (ANI)
