Prime Minister Modi’s Visit: Andhra Pradesh, Prayers at Tirumala Temple

As the prime minister entered at the Renigunta airport on Sunday evening, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, and Governor S Abdul Nazeer received him. During her visit to the renowned hill the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Monday, the Prime Minister prayed for the “happiness, fulfilment, and sound health of all Indians.” Modi was bestowed the Vedic blessings by the temple priests. On Sunday night, the prime minister landed in Tirumala. Modi was welcomed at the Reignite Airport by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor S Abdul Nazeer of Andhra Pradesh. The prime minister will go to Telangana after his visit to the shrine.

The PM is heading to Telangana state later today, where elections are scheduled on November 30. The PM is planning a major 166-kilometers road show to visit 24 constituencies in and around Hyderabad over the final phase of the election campaign.

The roadshow is expected to commence in Musheerabad and journey through Sanathnagar, Secunderabad, Secunderabad Cantonment, Malakpet, Yakatpura, Bahadurpura, Chandrayangutta, L B Nagar, Maheswaran, Malkajgiri, Quthbullapur, Kukatpally, Uppal, Medchal, Amberpet, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Nampally, Karwan, Serlingampally, Charminar, Rajendranagar, and end in Goshamahal, in accordance with the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). The people of Telangana are hopeful for change with the BJP,” Modi said while addressing public meetings in Maheswaran.
