Here are the information of "what's shut" in various areas of India for Lord Ram's consecration event on January 22.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol at the big temple in Ayodhya is scheduled on Monday, January 22. In honor of the historic occasion, various states and the federal government have declared a half-day vacation in workplaces, as well as a shutdown of schools, meat markets, liquor stores, and other businesses.

Lord Ram’s consecration ritual is essential to millions of Hindu devotees and followers throughout India. Worship rites and festivities are scheduled around the country.

Banks and insurance firms
All banks and insurance businesses in India will close for a half-day on January 22.

Central government-run offices
Every central government office, Central Organisations, and Central Commercial Establishments will close for a half-day (until 2.30 p.m.) to commemorate the Ram Lalla ‘Pran Pratishtha’ at Ayodhya.

The four federal government-owned hospitals in New Delhi, including AIIMS, Safdarjung, and Ram Manohar Lohia, will be shut until 2.30 pm on January 22. However, crucial and urgent services will be operational.

State government offices.
Half-day office closures in Delhi, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha, Assam, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Tripura.

All government, semi-government, and autonomous entities in Goa will be shut on January 22nd. Offices in the state of Himachal Pradesh have also announced a full vacation.

Schools are closed.
All educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, and Puducherry will close on Monday.

Haryana, Assam, and Tripura schools will have a half-day on Monday.

In Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia and its educational institutions would be closed till 2.30 p.m.

Liquor outlets closed.
All liquor stores will be shuttered in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana.

Casinos
On January 22, every casino in Goa will be closed for eight hours beginning at 8 am.

Ayodhya has tremendous security precautions in place. Preparations are underway for welcoming devotees, pilgrims, sages, and dignitaries to the city. The sacred city has been decorated with saffron flags, large cutouts of Lord Ram, and banners conveying religious sentiments about Lord Ram.

On January 22, Laxmi Kant Dixit, a Varanasi priest, would execute the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual at 12.20 pm. PM  Modi is going to be there for the important occasion.
