Second Vande Bharat will soon begin operating in Bengal

The Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express train underwent a trial run last week as part of Indian Railways’ plan to provide West Bengal a second such semi-high-speed train.

This train will transport passengers between Puri in Odisha and Howrah in Bengal. This means that the new Vande Bharat Express would make it simpler for travelers to reach Puri, the home of Lord Jagannath, where pilgrims and tourists are in great numbers.

At stations like Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khurda, the train will stop. The train’s test run was carried out on Friday at 6:10 am.

The train is anticipated to depart for Howrah, and it is anticipated to arrive back in Puri at 12:35 the same day.

However, a final date has not yet been set for the start of its services.”The semi-high-speed train is probably about to depart.

On December 30 of last year, the first Vande Bharat Express train in West Bengal began operating. The train runs between New Jalpaiguri and the city of Howrah.

In about 7.5 hours, the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express travels 564 kilometers. Three stops are of the train are , which will runs six days a week: Barsoi, Malda, and Bolpur.

After the Varanasi-New Delhi, Katra-New Delhi, Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar, New Delhi – Amb Andaura, Chennai-Mysuru, and Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express trains, the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat train was the seventh to launch.
