UP CM Yogi Adityanath receives death threat, case filed

The police in Lucknow have taken action after a death threat against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was received on the emergency services number, ‘Dial 112’. The Operation Commander of “112” filed a report with the Sushant Golf City police station after receiving a threat that “I will kill CM Yogi soon.” In accordance with Sections 506, 507, and IT Act 66, the police have filed a complaint.

Separately, the police have detained Xavier for allegedly threatening to carry out a suicide bombing assault on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 24 while he was visiting Kochi. Investigations found that Xavier was arrested out of personal animosity, despite the fact that Kerala BJP president K Surendran had received a letter last week alleging a plot to kill the prime minister. In order to catch his neighbour, he sent the letter. Forensics was utilised by the police to locate and capture him.

The police have set up strict security measures to guarantee the Prime Minister’s safety during his visit to Kochi. For this purpose, a total of 2060 police officers have been assigned, and traffic control is in effect as of 2:00 p.m. The situation is under control, and the police are taking the appropriate precautions to avert any unfortunate happenings, according to Commissioner K. Sethu Raman.
