With the release of the trailer for filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey’s Killer Soup, Netflix sets the stage for 2024 with a spectacle unlike any other, offering spectators a unique and tasteful combination of genres. The series, partly based on an article in the press, follows amateur antagonists, amateur heroes, and other side characters in the imaginary town of Mainjur through a quick turn of circumstances.
Swathi Shetty is a budding cook who wishes for the entire world to experience her paya soup. One misstep kicks off a chain reaction of accidents and frantic hidings that find her and her partner in boiling hot water. Killer Soup, produced by Chetana Kowshik and Honey Trehan, will be available on 11 January 2024, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Konkona Sensharma, Manoj Bajpayee (again), Nasser, Sayaji Shinde, Lal, Anbuthasan, Anula Navlekar, and Kani Kusruti.
