Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’s box office results are smashing records by the day. The Prashanth Neel-directed film, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is earning rave reviews from critics and fans alike. According to Sacnilk, the film, based in the mythical city-state of Khansaar, earned 7.5 crore (through all languages) on day 12. Salaar has so far grossed 369.37 crores at the national cinema office. Salaar has been released in five languages to reach a broader audience: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Salaar received an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board before to its release owing to its severe action sequences. Regarding the film’s mature rating, Prashanth Neel stated, “This narrative is centered around Deva and Vardha, Salaar is a story at its core.” I’ve been watching Telugu movies for years, and the brutality in my picture pales in comparison. The goal was never to develop a picture that was so violent that it received an A. However, the criteria have changed, and the board of censors has requested that I make specific edits. When they stated that, I became quite silent since I had not made a nasty film. The film’s brutality is necessary. I was dissatisfied but Prabhas assured me that everything would be well.”
Prabhas remarked on the film, as stated by the media outlet ANI, “I am extremely touched and overwhelmed by the tremendous affection and support shown by the audience.” Witnessing Salaar’s phenomenal box office performance has been an unforgettable experience for me and the whole crew. Every single person who was part of the production team has given their 100% to produce their best, and we are nothing but blessed with the great response from viewers.”
