The Congress’ DNA is to abuse PM Modi: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman accused the Congress party of having a DNA of abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in their latest Mann ki Baat episode. Sitharaman's Statements Speaking at a press conference in Chennai on Saturday, Sitharaman said that the Congress party has a DNA of abusing PM Modi, which was evident in their recent remarks on his Mann ki Baat program. She said that the Congress has been in power for most of India's post-independence history, but they never gave a platform to people to speak their minds like PM Modi did with Mann ki Baat. Sitharaman added that instead of appreciating the initiative, the Congress party is abusing PM Modi because they cannot tolerate his popularity and the affection he has earned from the masses. Attack on Congress The finance minister also attacked the Congress party for their approach towards issues of national importance. She claimed that the Congress has a habit of politicizing every issue, be it national security, economy, or any other matter. Sitharaman said that the Congress has a history of being soft on terrorism and cited the examples of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack and the Pulwama terror attack to prove her point. She also accused the Congress of causing delays in the Rafale fighter jet deal, which she claimed could have strengthened the Indian Air Force had it been finalized on time. Sitharaman added that the Congress is responsible for the economic mess that the country is currently facing and that the Modi government is working hard to clean up the mess left by the previous Congress-led government. Nirmala Sitharaman accused the Congress party of abusing PM Modi and politicizing every issue of national importance. She claimed that the Congress has a history of being soft on terrorism and causing delays in important defense deals. The finance minister also stated that the Modi government is working hard to clean up the economic mess left by the previous Congress-led government.
