Chandrayaan-3’s Lunar Triumph: PM Modi Highlights Women’s Power on ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Chandrayaan-3 is a working illustration of women’s power, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who stated this on Sunday. Multiple women scientists and engineers played an active role in the expedition.

In his monthly “Mann Ki Baat” show, Mr. Modi highlighted that Indian daughters are now challenging the presumed boundlessness of space.

“When the daughters of a country become so ambitious, then who can stop that country from becoming developed,” he questioned.

The Prime Minister noted that Mission Chandrayaan symbolizes the spirit of the “new India.” In this new India, the determination to triumph in all conditions is coupled with the readiness to confront any challenge.

There is a part of this assignment that I want to talk to you about in particular. He emphasized that combining women’s strength makes the unthinkable achievable.

According to Prime Minister Modi, the Indian mission Chandrayaan is a real-world illustration of women’s empowerment.

“Many women scientists and engineers were directly involved in this entire mission, and they have handled many important responsibilities such as project director and project manager,” he said.

“We have soared so high,” he remarked, “because our dreams are big and so are our efforts.”

The Prime Minister finds Chandrayaan-3’s triumph too immense to discuss in detail.

India’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission achieved a significant milestone, landing on the lunar south pole at 6:04 PM on August 23. This achievement placed India among only four nations to achieve this and marked a historic moment for its space program.

India has become the fourth nation to successfully soft-land on the Moon, joining the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union. This historic achievement follows a flawless 41-day journey, marking a significant milestone in lunar exploration history. According to Prime Minister Modi, the G20 leaders’ meeting will feature the largest participation in the group’s history. In his broadcast, he also affirmed that India is well-prepared for it.
