Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will pay tribute to the soldiers who were martyred in the recent Naxal attack in Dantewada. The attack took place on Monday, April 25, and claimed the lives of 22 security personnel.
Tribute to Martyred Soldiers
Baghel will visit Jagdalpur to pay tribute to the martyred soldiers. He will also meet the injured soldiers and their families. The Chief Minister has announced a compensation of Rs. 20 lakh for the families of the deceased and Rs. 5 lakh for the injured soldiers.
Naxal Attack in Dantewada
The Naxal attack took place in the district of Dantewada, located in the southern part of Chhattisgarh. The attack targeted a joint team of security forces who were on a mission to apprehend Naxal leaders in the area. The operation was carried out jointly by the Chhattisgarh police and the CRPF.
