Cold storage building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh. A cold storage building collapsed in Chandausi of Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. This incident resulted in the death of one person, and it even left 15 people traumatized as they were stuck under the rubble of the cold storage building. This unfortunate event took place around 12 in the afternoon when the roof of the building suddenly collapsed. The administration immediately ordered the rescue and relief teams to go to the site of destruction. Even the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) joined them in order to help those who were affected by the destruction. So far, eight people have been rescued by the relief teams. The rescue and relief teams are putting in their full effort to find and help everyone.
The traumatic incident of the cold storage building collapsing has left the whole country in a state of shock and disbelief. However, the relief teams along with the National Disaster Response Force and even the State Disaster Response Force are doing their best to help everyone. Moradabad DGP Shalabh Mathur told India Today that the SP and DM reached the spot immediately after receiving the information. “15-30 labourers are feared trapped under the rubble,” he said. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the officials to carry out immediate relief and rescue work. He even added, “In view of the accident in the cold storage in Chandausi district of Sambhal, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the district administration officials, SDRF and NDRF teams to conduct immediate relief and rescue work by reaching the spot,”
