PM Modi raised issue of Vandalism. He did so because of the vandalism and harm that was done to the temple by the Khalistani elements along with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese. Prime Minister Modi said that the Australian Prime Minister has assured about the safety of the Indian community after the incidents of vandalism took place. However, even after this assuring message, PM Narendra Modi still conducted many discussions with Anthony Albanese. They talked about increasing the overall engagement in the sectors of trade and investment and even in defense as well as important minerals.

In joint press conference organized with Anthony Albanese, PM Modi said, “Matter of regret that reports have come regularly from Australia in the last few weeks about attacks on temples. I have conveyed this to PM Albanese, and he has assured me that the safety and well-being of the Indian community in Australia is a priority for them.”

After the joint press conference was over, PM Modi concluded by saying, “We discussed maritime security in the Indo-Pacific and ways to enhance mutual security. We discussed mutual cooperation to develop reliable, strong global supply chains,”

The main purpose of the visit of Anthony Albanese was to attend a series of important engagements. The visit was also necessary to discuss various critical and essential topics. This was also the first visit of Anthony Albanese after becoming the Prime Minister in May 2022. “Australia and India are great friends. We are partners and we are building that partnership even stronger each and every day,” said Anthony when he was given a special ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
